Consisting of four two-bedroom duplexes and one two-bedroom stand alone home, this development for Kāinga Ora, was managed by TW Property and constructed by the Gisborne branch of TW Construction.

Our team are extremely proud to have delivered four developments for Kāinga Ora in 2024 alone, with this project in James Street being one of them. The homes in this development all have a Homestar rating V4.1. To receive a Homestar rating, a house must meet additional performance and sustainability requirements above and beyond the New Zealand Building Code and achieve better results in the following areas: energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor air quality, durability and longevity, universal design and smart home technology.

Additionally, the two-bedroom standalone unit is designed using Full Universal Design principals (FUD). This ensures the home is more comfortable and liveable for people of all ages and abilities through features such as wider doorways, lever handles and the scope for accessible bathrooms.
